# Desires by Angel > Desires by Angel checks US escort phone numbers against their area codes and lists the ones advertised far from home: a number issued for one state, published in a listing in a city whose state is not that one and not next to it. Each number page gives the state the area code was issued for, its time zone, the year it went into service and whether it is an overlay, next to the listing that publishes the number (name, listed city, age range, review count on The Erotic Review, TER) and other out-of-town numbers in the same city. An area code records where a number was first issued, not where its owner is today: many providers tour, or keep the number they had before they moved. Data as of October 26, 2026: 30270 US escort phone numbers listed in a city far from the state their area code was issued for (neither that state nor a neighbouring one), in 828 cities, with area codes from 51 states.
