We compared every phone number in the escort listings we follow with the state its area code was issued for. 30,275 of them are listed in a city far from that state – not in it and not next door – across 828 cities, with area codes from 51 states. Each one has a page with the area code's facts, the time there now and the listing that publishes it.

Reading a number page
- The area code. Which state issued the number, its time zone, the year it went into service and whether it overlays an older code.
- The listing. Where the number is published now: the name, listed city, age range and TER review count, as published.
- The distance between them. A fact about geography, not about anyone. Many providers tour, or keep the number they had before they moved.
